Coastal Mangrove Regeneration
Supported community-led mangrove regeneration in vulnerable coastal areas. Local teams raised and planted suitable native species, cared for young trees, and shared knowledge about the role mangroves play in habitat, shoreline stability, and climate resilience.
The work is shaped around local environmental priorities and community participation. Activities are planned with local partners, use approaches suited to the site, and include ongoing care so benefits can continue beyond a single activity. Volunteers contribute through practical tasks, learning, and collaboration with residents.
